SPOILER ALERT: STARCRAFT II AND STARCRAFT II: HEART OF THE SWARM
The Queen of Blades has conquered the home-world. Raynor’s Raiders have shown their hand and sided with Kerrigan and her Zerg lot. Arcturus Mengsk’s corpse rots in his tower. The Queen of Blades has taken her swarm and left the system for some unknown reason. The republic has to rebuild once more.
Terran forces have spread out again to secure their worlds only to find themselves still facing off against rogue Zerg Brood-Mothers and unfriendly Protoss forces. The struggle for space continues on all sides.
A rag-tag group of Terrans find themselves the only survivors after their Starship crash-lands onto a fringe colony planet littered with the remains of a Protoss – Zerg war. The only options: Survive long enough to get off-world, or die trying.

What would you say about ramping this up during the Worms hiatus (after the current chapter)?

The latest version I have is 2013-05-06 not the toolkit unless I missed something. Pg 150 of that doesn’t mention gear.
You might consider implementing some variation on the Gadgets and Gear rules from the Fate System Toolkit (see p. 150 of the current draft) for the standard load out for the various units.
